ACCREDITED CELEBRATES GIVING TUESDAY BY DONATING TO 46 CHARITIES
Woodland Hills, Calif. (December 3, 2019) – As the Accredited Family of Home Care Services continues its 40-year anniversary festivities, the Southern California home care industry leader today celebrated Giving Tuesday by presenting $100 donations to 46 local and national charities.
Earlier this year, Accredited announced its plan to donate a total of $40,000 to various nonprofits, then reached out to the community and invited nominations for recipient charities. The final list of award recipients will be unveiled at the company’s gala celebration on June 9, 2020.
“Today, we start our own season of giving by recognizing and showing appreciation for these 46 charities for the services they provide to our community,” noted Accredited owner and president Barry Berger. “We were very impressed by the nominations we received from employees, industry peers, and others who obviously felt strongly and advocated for these nonprofits.”
Award recipients based in Southern California will have their checks hand-delivered by a member of the Accredited management team. The following 46 charities recognized today will be reviewed as candidates to share in the larger pool, which will be awarded in June.
