I am interested in becoming a Caregiver (Home Care Aide). What are the current state requirements?
The Department of Social Services now requires all Home Care Aides to register on-line or via mail (to Sacramento), pay a registration fee of $25 every two years, successfully complete a specific LiveScan electronic fingerprint and background check process, obtain a clear test result for Tuberculosis, complete three forms, and complete 5 hours of annual home care aide training. Accredited Home Care assists with all of these requirements and will pay for the registration costs of new and current employees. Contact your local Accredited office for more information.
How do I begin the process of applying for employment with Accredited?

What is the CalSavers program and what do I need to know about it?
You can find out about what the CalSavers program is, how it will affect your paychecks, and how you can opt out of it if you wish, by visiting our CalSavers Program page.
How do I submit my completed timecards?
Timecards are due every Monday at 5pm. Please hand-deliver or fax them to your local Accredited office. Respite Caregivers may fax their timecards to 866-558-7732 or 818-986-9317.
How can I request more timecards?
You may download additional time cards, as a self-service user, by accessing your profile on the ADP portal

I need copies of paystubs or last year’s W-2 form. How can I obtain them?

Am I eligible for Health Insurance through my employment with Accredited?
Accredited offers health insurance to eligible Variable Hour Employees, consistent with the laws governing the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obama Care). We monitor new hires’ hours worked for over their first 12 months of employment, and those who complete 1,560 or more hours are offered insurance for the following 12 months. We repeat this process annually. Specific questions regarding insurance benefits can be directed to Evelin Russell at 800-974-1234 ext. 151 or erussell@accreditednursing.com

I don’t have a bank account. Do I have options other than to receive mailed paychecks?
Yes, you can click here to download the enrollment form for our Money Network Card payroll option. You will be given a plastic card that works similar to a Debit card. Print it, complete it in its entirety (including date and signature), then fax it to our Payroll Department at (818) 900-2523. You may call 800-974-1234 ext. 175 to confirm receipt of your fax.
I just moved and need to change my address. What do I do?
You may update your personal contact information, as a self -service user, by accessing your profile on the ADP portal

On The Job
I am concerned that my client might be the victim of abuse. Who do I contact?
All Accredited employees are mandated reporters. If you witness anything that might constitute physical, emotional or financial abuse, please contact your supervisor the same business day. You may also contact Steve Davidson in our Human Resources Department at 800-974-1234 ext. 161.
What training options exist for Caregivers (Home Care Aides)?
Accredited Home Care has created a comprehensive training program for all of its Home Care Aides, to meet or exceed the state’s requirements. We offer Lunch & Learn classes at all five Accredited offices, along with Webinar-based on-line training, and other training options. Contact your local Accredited office for the current schedule of classes and webinars.
